My last post was about timing. Thought a good follow up would be about the recent Northern Lights show. This was a topic on national and local news as the strongest magnetic storm in decades approached. I planned out a location beforehand and headed out about 10pm on 5/10/24. (Disclaimer – I have previously gone out no less than a dozen times on high forecasted nights since moving to Spokane and not seen the Northern Lights once)

This trip did not disappoint though. The show started about 10:45pm and lasted about an hour with patterns, colors, and locations changing constantly. It was quite spectacular.
